Hi, I’m Mariah Lewis, LMT, MMP
People often ask me:
“What made you want to become a massage therapist?”
The answer is simple: I received my first massage.
It was an Ashiatsu massage, and I was completely transported. For the first time, I experienced what it felt like to truly let go — to step outside of the constant pace of everyday life and settle fully into my body.
That experience stayed with me.
I had always been drawn to healing practices. Before becoming a massage therapist, I dreamed of becoming a yoga teacher. I loved the idea of helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, breath, and mindfulness. When I discovered massage, I realized I had found another path to create that same connection — but through a deeply personal, one-on-one experience.
I saved up and put myself through massage school, graduating in 2019. From the beginning, I knew I wanted my work to be intentional, sustainable, and rooted in genuine connection.
When I discovered Ashiatsu, it felt like I had found the modality I was always looking for.
There is something special about barefoot bodywork. The rhythm, the grounding presence, the flow, and the ability to create deep therapeutic pressure while allowing the work to feel effortless and connected. To me, Ashiatsu is more than a technique — it is a dance between therapist and client.
Outside of the treatment room, I’m someone who finds joy in the slower moments — wandering through forests, admiring the way sunlight moves through the trees, collecting interesting rocks along the shoreline, creating art, practicing yoga, and making colorful plant-based meals from scratch.
Sole Therapeutics is a reflection of everything I love: intentional living, creativity, curiosity, compassion, and the belief that caring for yourself is not indulgent — it is essential.
I’m honored to be part of your journey back to yourself.
My approach to massage is built around presence
I believe the body carries our experiences — our stress, our emotions, our movement patterns, and the weight of everyday life. Tuning into guided breathing, we create a space where the nervous system can soften and the body feels safe enough to surrender, & meaningful change can begin.
My intention is for every person who steps into my space to feel seen, supported, and completely cared for. Through mindful touch, breath, and therapeutic bodywork, I create an experience that invites you to slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself.
